Leaders in Training
Grow, Lead, Inspire.
A Summer Day Program for Aspiring Camp and Community Leaders
For girls ages 13-15. June 22 – July 31, 2026.
Join us for one, two, or all three sessions.
Each session runs two weeks.
The Leaders in Training (LIT) program invites girls ages 13-15 to step into leadership through hands-on experiences that mirror real-world professional settings. Through workshops, mentorship, and daily reflection, LITs build confidence and develop essential leadership skills, taking initiative and showing accountability as they collaborate with younger campers, peers, and mentors.
Participants learn by doing – growing skills like empathy, active listening, problem-solving, communication, and the ability to receive and respond to feedback. By the end of the program, LITs leave with practical leadership experience, valuable insight into how to work in a professional environment, and the confidence to inspire others.
By the end of a session, LITs will have:
Practical tools for motivating and supporting campers with care and confidence.
Real-world skills for inspiring, supporting, and leading younger campers.
Hands-on strategies for encouraging, guiding, and connecting with campers.
Greater confidence as communicators, teammates, and emerging leaders.

Why should you choose our program?
Our program creates a sense of belonging and accountability, modeling to LITs that leadership is built on relationships, trust, and mutual support. LITs learn directly from experienced counselors and passionate staff, stepping into mentoring roles with younger campers while also practicing how to give and receive guidance. By leading games, activities, and daily routines, LITs learn how to balance joy with professionalism, modeling how leaders create engaging but safe spaces. Communication, conflict resolution, adaptability, and resilience are practiced at camp , which prepare LITs to lead confidently in school, work, and beyond.
Our all-girls experience provides a safe and inclusive environment where girls can be their unique and authentic selves while building their confidence, identifying their strengths and experiencing joy.
