6 Things We’re Excited About for Summer Camp in 2026

There’s something about the start of the new year that fills us with a joyful kind of nostalgia – the kind that makes us think about chants echoing across campus, high fives after big accomplishments, and friendships that feel like instant sisterhood. We start imagining sunny days full of fun and curiosity, where every camper is known and celebrated as part of our community!

While summer may still feel far away, our team is already busy dreaming, planning, and counting down the days until we officially kick off summer 2026! There is so much to look forward to, but if we had to choose, here are six things we’re especially excited about!

1. Leading with Skill and Care

Leaders in Training (LIT)

Leadership means being prepared, and earning a First Aid certification is a powerful step in that journey. Through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios, LITs will build practical skills while learning how responsibility, preparedness, and care for others go hand in hand.

2. Courage on the Rapids

Summer in Farmington: SPLI – Risk-taking and Resilience

White water rafting isn’t just an adventure – it’s a confidence builder! Campers in Risk-taking and Resilience will take on physical challenges that push them outside their comfort zones, learning resilience, teamwork, and self-trust along the way. These are the moments where growth really happens.

3. Diving Into Wonder

Daisy Days: Under the Sea

Few things spark curiosity like the ocean. Campers will meet a real-life scuba diver and dive into the wonders of marine life, exploring ecosystems beneath the surface and discovering just how incredible and interconnected our underwater world truly is.

4. Rolling Up Our Sleeves and Getting Dirty

Summer Explorations: Girls in Gear

From engines to engineering, campers will get their hands dirty rebuilding vintage motorcycles for hands-on learning to develop mechanical engineering skills! This program blends creativity, problem solving, and mechanical curiosity, empowering girls to explore STEM concepts in unexpected and seriously cool ways!

5. Big Ideas, Bigger Impact at the United Nations

Summer in Farmington: IGE – Issues to Action

Campers will step into the world of global citizenship with a visit to the United Nations in New York City, where international issues come to life beyond the classroom. Campers will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet with and hear from top female leaders and decision makers, as well as attend a press conference with the Spokesman for the Secretary-General. Through discussion, reflection, and hands-on projects, participants in Issues to Action will connect global challenges to real-world action, learning how their voices and ideas can make a difference.

6. Field Days, Camp Style

Leaders in Training (LIT)

What happens when campers become the planners? Pure magic! Leaders in Training will design and lead Field Days for younger campers, gaining firsthand experience in leadership, collaboration, and communication – all while creating joyful, memorable moments for the entire camp community.

Get psyched for summer!

Summer 2026 is shaping up to be our best one yet, and registration is heating up! Save yourself from waitlist woes and register your camper today.
